How to uninstall or remove elpa-let-alist software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed elpa-let-alist package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove elpa-let-alist 

Uninstall elpa-let-alist including dependent package

If you would like to remove elpa-let-alist and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove elpa-let-alist 
Use Purging elpa-let-alist

If you use with purge options to elpa-let-alist package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge elpa-let-alist 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove elpa-let-alist
