ed2k-hash software package provides tool for generating ed2k-links, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ed2k-hash
ed2k-hash is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ed2k-hash package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ed2k-hash *
You will get with ed2k-hash package name, version, architecture and description in a table
