dwarfdump software package provides utility to dump DWARF debug information from ELF objects, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dwarfdump
dwarfdump is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dwarfdump package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dwarfdump *
You will get with dwarfdump package name, version, architecture and description in a table
