How to uninstall or remove dvgrab software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed dvgrab package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove dvgrab

Uninstall dvgrab including dependent package

If you would like to remove dvgrab and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dvgrab
Use Purging dvgrab

If you use with purge options to dvgrab package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge dvgrab

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dvgrab
