How to uninstall or remove dpsyco-cfengine software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed dpsyco-cfengine package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove dpsyco-cfengine

Uninstall dpsyco-cfengine including dependent package

If you would like to remove dpsyco-cfengine and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dpsyco-cfengine
Use Purging dpsyco-cfengine

If you use with purge options to dpsyco-cfengine package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge dpsyco-cfengine

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dpsyco-cfengine
