How to uninstall or remove dolphin4 software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed dolphin4 package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove dolphin4

Uninstall dolphin4 including dependent package

If you would like to remove dolphin4 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dolphin4
Use Purging dolphin4

If you use with purge options to dolphin4 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge dolphin4

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dolphin4
