How to uninstall or remove dmraid software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed dmraid package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove dmraid

Uninstall dmraid including dependent package

If you would like to remove dmraid and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dmraid
Use Purging dmraid

If you use with purge options to dmraid package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge dmraid

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dmraid
