How to uninstall or remove diffuse software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed diffuse package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove diffuse

Uninstall diffuse including dependent package

If you would like to remove diffuse and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove diffuse
Use Purging diffuse

If you use with purge options to diffuse package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge diffuse

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove diffuse
