How to uninstall or remove dgit-infrastructure software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed dgit-infrastructure package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove dgit-infrastructure

Uninstall dgit-infrastructure including dependent package

If you would like to remove dgit-infrastructure and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dgit-infrastructure

Use Purging dgit-infrastructure

If you use with purge options to dgit-infrastructure package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge dgit-infrastructure

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dgit-infrastructure
