How to uninstall or remove desktopnova-module-xfce software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed desktopnova-module-xfce package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove desktopnova-module-xfce

Uninstall desktopnova-module-xfce including dependent package

If you would like to remove desktopnova-module-xfce and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove desktopnova-module-xfce

Use Purging desktopnova-module-xfce

If you use with purge options to desktopnova-module-xfce package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge desktopnova-module-xfce

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove desktopnova-module-xfce
