How to uninstall or remove deps-tools-cli software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed deps-tools-cli package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove deps-tools-cli

Uninstall deps-tools-cli including dependent package

If you would like to remove deps-tools-cli and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove deps-tools-cli

Use Purging deps-tools-cli

If you use with purge options to deps-tools-cli package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge deps-tools-cli

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove deps-tools-cli
