cwm software package provides lightweight and efficient window manager for X11, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cwm
cwm is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cwm package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cwm *
You will get with cwm package name, version, architecture and description in a table
