How to uninstall or remove cpu-checker software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed cpu-checker package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove cpu-checker 

Uninstall cpu-checker including dependent package

If you would like to remove cpu-checker and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cpu-checker 
Use Purging cpu-checker

If you use with purge options to cpu-checker package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge cpu-checker 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cpu-checker
