codespell software package provides find and fix common misspellings in text files, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install codespell
codespell is installed in your system.
Make ensure the codespell package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep codespell *
You will get with codespell package name, version, architecture and description in a table
