How to uninstall or remove cntlm software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed cntlm package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove cntlm 

Uninstall cntlm including dependent package

If you would like to remove cntlm and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cntlm 
Use Purging cntlm

If you use with purge options to cntlm package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge cntlm 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cntlm
