cloud-utils software package provides metapackage for installation of upstream cloud-utils source, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cloud-utils
cloud-utils is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cloud-utils package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cloud-utils *
You will get with cloud-utils package name, version, architecture and description in a table
