How to uninstall or remove cl-ieee-floats software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed cl-ieee-floats package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove cl-ieee-floats

Uninstall cl-ieee-floats including dependent package

If you would like to remove cl-ieee-floats and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cl-ieee-floats

Use Purging cl-ieee-floats

If you use with purge options to cl-ieee-floats package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge cl-ieee-floats

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cl-ieee-floats
