ceph-deploy software package provides Deployment and configuration of Ceph., you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ceph-deploy
ceph-deploy is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ceph-deploy package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ceph-deploy *
You will get with ceph-deploy package name, version, architecture and description in a table
