celeryd software package provides async task/job queue based on message passing (daemons), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install celeryd
celeryd is installed in your system.
Make ensure the celeryd package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep celeryd *
You will get with celeryd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
