bluez-tests software package provides BlueZ test tools and scripts, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install bluez-tests
bluez-tests is installed in your system.
Make ensure the bluez-tests package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bluez-tests *
You will get with bluez-tests package name, version, architecture and description in a table
