bluez-obexd software package provides bluez obex daemon, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install bluez-obexd
bluez-obexd is installed in your system.
Make ensure the bluez-obexd package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bluez-obexd *
You will get with bluez-obexd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
