How to uninstall or remove blackbox-themes software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed blackbox-themes package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove blackbox-themes

Uninstall blackbox-themes including dependent package

If you would like to remove blackbox-themes and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove blackbox-themes

Use Purging blackbox-themes

If you use with purge options to blackbox-themes package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge blackbox-themes

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove blackbox-themes
