How to uninstall or remove batctl software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed batctl package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove batctl 

Uninstall batctl including dependent package

If you would like to remove batctl and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove batctl 
Use Purging batctl

If you use with purge options to batctl package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge batctl 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove batctl
