How to uninstall or remove bash-static software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed bash-static package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove bash-static 

Uninstall bash-static including dependent package

If you would like to remove bash-static and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bash-static 
Use Purging bash-static

If you use with purge options to bash-static package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge bash-static 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bash-static
