How to uninstall or remove bacula-console-qt software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed bacula-console-qt package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove bacula-console-qt

Uninstall bacula-console-qt including dependent package

If you would like to remove bacula-console-qt and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bacula-console-qt

Use Purging bacula-console-qt

If you use with purge options to bacula-console-qt package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge bacula-console-qt

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bacula-console-qt
