backintime-qt4 software package provides simple backup/snapshot system (graphical interface), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install backintime-qt4
backintime-qt4 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the backintime-qt4 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep backintime-qt4 *
You will get with backintime-qt4 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
