aspell-bn software package provides Bengali (bn) dictionary for GNU aspell, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install aspell-bn
aspell-bn is installed in your system.
Make ensure the aspell-bn package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep aspell-bn *
You will get with aspell-bn package name, version, architecture and description in a table
