How to uninstall or remove arduino-mighty-1284p software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed arduino-mighty-1284p package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove arduino-mighty-1284p

Uninstall arduino-mighty-1284p including dependent package

If you would like to remove arduino-mighty-1284p and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove arduino-mighty-1284p

Use Purging arduino-mighty-1284p

If you use with purge options to arduino-mighty-1284p package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge arduino-mighty-1284p

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove arduino-mighty-1284p
