How to uninstall or remove ardour-i686 software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed ardour-i686 package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove ardour-i686 

Uninstall ardour-i686 including dependent package

If you would like to remove ardour-i686 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ardour-i686 
Use Purging ardour-i686

If you use with purge options to ardour-i686 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge ardour-i686 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ardour-i686
