How to uninstall or remove aptly-publisher software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed aptly-publisher package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove aptly-publisher 

Uninstall aptly-publisher including dependent package

If you would like to remove aptly-publisher and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove aptly-publisher 
Use Purging aptly-publisher

If you use with purge options to aptly-publisher package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge aptly-publisher 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove aptly-publisher
