apt-transport-s3 software package provides APT transport for privately held AWS S3 repositories, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install apt-transport-s3
apt-transport-s3 is installed in your system.
