How to uninstall or remove app-install-data-partner software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed app-install-data-partner package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove app-install-data-partner

Uninstall app-install-data-partner including dependent package

If you would like to remove app-install-data-partner and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove app-install-data-partner

Use Purging app-install-data-partner

If you use with purge options to app-install-data-partner package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge app-install-data-partner

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove app-install-data-partner
