How to uninstall or remove android-src-vendor software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed android-src-vendor package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove android-src-vendor

Uninstall android-src-vendor including dependent package

If you would like to remove android-src-vendor and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove android-src-vendor
Use Purging android-src-vendor

If you use with purge options to android-src-vendor package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge android-src-vendor

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove android-src-vendor
