How to uninstall or remove acl2-infix-source software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed acl2-infix-source package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove acl2-infix-source

Uninstall acl2-infix-source including dependent package

If you would like to remove acl2-infix-source and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove acl2-infix-source

Use Purging acl2-infix-source

If you use with purge options to acl2-infix-source package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge acl2-infix-source

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove acl2-infix-source
