chewing-editor software package provides user dictionary editor for the chewing input method, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install chewing-editor
chewing-editor is installed in your system.
Make ensure the chewing-editor package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep chewing-editor *
You will get with chewing-editor package name, version, architecture and description in a table
