brotli software package provides lossless compression algorithm and format (command line utility), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install brotli
brotli is installed in your system.
Make ensure the brotli package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep brotli *
You will get with brotli package name, version, architecture and description in a table
