apt-mirror-setup software package provides set up a mirror in sources.list, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install apt-mirror-setup
apt-mirror-setup is installed in your system.
Make ensure the apt-mirror-setup package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep apt-mirror-setup *
You will get with apt-mirror-setup package name, version, architecture and description in a table
