apport-noui software package provides tools for automatically reporting Apport crash reports, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install apport-noui
apport-noui is installed in your system.
Make ensure the apport-noui package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep apport-noui *
You will get with apport-noui package name, version, architecture and description in a table
