apache2-bin software package provides Apache HTTP Server (modules and other binary files), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install apache2-bin
apache2-bin is installed in your system.
Make ensure the apache2-bin package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep apache2-bin *
You will get with apache2-bin package name, version, architecture and description in a table
