How to uninstall or remove android-sdk-platform-tools-com software package from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

You can uninstall or removes an installed android-sdk-platform-tools-com package itself from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove android-sdk-platform-tools-com

Uninstall android-sdk-platform-tools-com including dependent package

If you would like to remove android-sdk-platform-tools-com and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove android-sdk-platform-tools-com
Use Purging android-sdk-platform-tools-com

If you use with purge options to android-sdk-platform-tools-com package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge android-sdk-platform-tools-com

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove android-sdk-platform-tools-com
