How to uninstall or remove analog software package from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

You can uninstall or removes an installed analog package itself from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove analog 

Uninstall analog including dependent package

If you would like to remove analog and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove analog 
Use Purging analog

If you use with purge options to analog package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge analog 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove analog
