aevol software package provides digital genetics model to run Evolution Experiments in silico, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install aevol
aevol is installed in your system.
Make ensure the aevol package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep aevol *
You will get with aevol package name, version, architecture and description in a table
