adlint software package provides open source and free source code static analyzer, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install adlint
adlint is installed in your system.
Make ensure the adlint package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep adlint *
You will get with adlint package name, version, architecture and description in a table
