How to uninstall or remove addresses-goodies-for-gnustep software package from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

Uninstall addresses-goodies-for-gnustep including dependent package

If you would like to remove addresses-goodies-for-gnustep and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove addresses-goodies-for-gnustep

Use Purging addresses-goodies-for-gnustep

If you use with purge options to addresses-goodies-for-gnustep package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge addresses-goodies-for-gnustep

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove addresses-goodies-for-gnustep
