cdcd-dbg software package provides command line or console based CD player (debug), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cdcd-dbg
cdcd-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cdcd-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cdcd-dbg *
You will get with cdcd-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
