bootp software package provides server for the bootp protocol with DHCP support, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install bootp
bootp is installed in your system.
Make ensure the bootp package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bootp *
You will get with bootp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
