backstep software package provides Draws icons for minimized windows on your desktop, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install backstep
backstep is installed in your system.
Make ensure the backstep package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep backstep *
You will get with backstep package name, version, architecture and description in a table
