aprsd software package provides Internet Gateway for the Automatic Position Reporting System, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install aprsd
aprsd is installed in your system.
Make ensure the aprsd package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep aprsd *
You will get with aprsd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
