How to Install apper software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

apper software package provides KDE package management tool using PackageKit, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install apper 

apper is installed in your system.

Make ensure the apper package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep apper *

You will get with apper package name, version, architecture and description in a table
