apparix software package provides console-based bookmark tool for fast file system navigation, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install apparix
apparix is installed in your system.
Make ensure the apparix package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep apparix *
You will get with apparix package name, version, architecture and description in a table
